Placed an order for a gender reveal cake on behalf of a pregnant friend of mine. The exterior was suppose to be an ombre effect from pink to blue. Inside was suppose to be the CLEAR INDICATION OF THE GENDER. Told them to make the inside clearly blue (Lemon Blueberry) if it was a boy, or alternatively (Strawberry lemon) pink if it was a girl. Not overly complicated as an order. Confirmed multiple times that the inside would be BLUE for a boy and they said they crossed out the girl option. Wild no one baking even considered to use BLUE dye in the actual cake batter? Like what??? Got the order today and the inside reveal was BLACK!!!... >:( If you do not understand the simplicity of creating a gender reveal cake, then what kind of bakery are you? Seriously unreal.

Love the experience that I had my girls and I had from cupcakes to ice cream. even a sampler of mini cupcakes. loved it all. highly recommend would definitely go back. the only thing that I didn't like was that there wasn't a chair to sit down either inside or outside. it would have been so cute, but other than that definitely loved it regardless and will definitely be going back

My Husband ordered my Birthday cake at Smallcakes Cupcakery and I am absolutely amazed at how it turned out. They were the second place we found that offer gluten and dairy free cakes. I'm so glad we found them because the previous person/business that specializes in that completely ghosted us. Smallcakes took the order last minute. They were quick to respond to our questions and the customer service is amazing. The cake turned out absolutely gorgeous and it tasted super yummy. As someone who had to go gluten and dairy free because of a medical condition, I thought I would never be able to enjoy cake ever again. Thank you Smallcakes for making it possible, for making it safe for me to enjoy Birthday cake again.

The cupcakes are consistently moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated each one feels like a little work of art. Whether it’s the classic flavors or the more creative seasonal ones, we’ve never had a bad pick.

I just wanted to say that I truly adore this place! Everyone is nice and friendly, and is happy to help answer questions both on the phone and in store. I've ordered two customs cakes and each time I was met with fantastic service. My guests loves the cakes, both how they looked and how they tasted! These cakes are truly just as delicious as they are beautiful! They are also relatively affordable and fairly priced! I love picking up a sweet treat here when I can, and going forward will work with them for all my parties!
